Retrospective

Many organizations realize the importance and power of retrospectives for their agile projects. Inspecting and adapting is a key ingredient for process maturity and increased productivity. Great teams achieve that by working smarter, not harder. In reality however, teams are often challenged by delivering project results and retrospectives simply fall off the wagon. Good retrospectives incorporate fresh new ideas and represent a good selection of techniques. The advantage of external facilitators is often that we see issues without bias and different angles. That often leads to challenging questions and creative solutions.

We began offering retrospective facilitation services after customers asked us to come back in regular intervals and work with their teams to achieve incremental progress. This service can range from facilitating one, single retrospective to a series of retrospectives at the end of every iteration. In both cases, we would connect with you prior to the first retrospective, learn about your challenges as well as goals and then prepare and execute the retrospective. After the retrospective, we leave behind agreed-upon and tangible action items.
