Professional Agile Leadership Essentials (PAL-E) is a 2-day workshop created by Scrum.org to provide a foundation for leaders to help their organizations be successful with Agile and Scrum. This workshop uses a  combination of instruction and team-based exercises to help participants learn how to empower teams and enable their organizations to reap the benefits of an agile product delivery approach.  

The course is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.

The Professional Scrum Master course is for anyone involved in software development using the Scrum framework. It is particularly beneficial for those people within an organization accountable for getting the most out of Scrum, including Scrum Masters, managers, and Scrum Team members. No pre-existing knowledge of Scrum is required to attend.

You are also entitled to a 40% discount on the PSM II assessment. 

What is included in the price?
The price includes course materials, the PSM I assessment, lifetime certification from Scrum.org and a 40% discount on the PSM II assessment.

How do I achieve the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification?
The PSM I certification is achieved by taking and passing an online assessment in your own time following the course. It can be taken from any internet connected computer.

What is required to achieve the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification?
The PSM I assessment is comprised of 80 multiple choice questions that must be completed in 60 minutes. The pass mark is 85%. The course fee provides up to 2 attempts at the PSM I assessment.

What are the course hours?
Courses start at 09am and finishes at 5pm both days.

How many people will attend?
Our courses are capped at around 18 attendees to ensure a premium experience.

How should I prepare for the course?
The only preparation required is to read the Scrum Guide.

  • The Scrum Master as a Teacher

  • The Scrum Master as a Change Agent

As a Scrum Master, you need to be able to identify, and effectively apply which stance would benefit your team the most depending on the situation.

As a Scrum Master, part of your role is to help management and other stakeholders across your organization understand the benefits of Scrum and Agile. Therefore, it is imperative that you have the information and background that is needed to gain credibility in order to be an effective change agent.  Throughout the class, your Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) will provide stories, exercises, facilitation techniques (such as “Liberating Structures”), resources and more. Professional Agile Leadership - Essentials (PAL-E)

Professional Agile Leadership Essentials (PAL-E) is a 1-day workshop created by Scrum.org to provide a foundation for leaders to help their organizations be successful with Agile and Scrum. This workshop uses a  combination of instruction and team-based exercises to help participants learn how to empower teams and enable their organizations to reap the benefits of an agile product delivery approach.  

The course is limited to a maximum of 25 participants.

This workshop will equip leaders and managers with the tools they need to promote healthy organizational change by providing participants with:

  • An overview of what "Agile" is, why organizations need it to survive and thrive in a changing world, how it works, and how to quantify its benefits from a business perspective

  • An understanding of how to help form and support agile teams using an empirical approach to product delivery

  • An understanding of typical challenges that agile teams face and how to support them

For Bose, Joe provided leadership coaching services to scale an agile project of 11 teams (95 team members) world-wide working on a single product. Back in 2008, he pioneered Agile Portfolio Management by publishing the first book that looked at leading portfolios and projects from an agile angle. Today he works with large companies and start-up's alike by instilling powerful agile processes.
